Volunteer

Community Volunteer Opportunity:September 12, 9:00 am -12:00 pmThe City's restoration coordinator, Tom Doyle, hosts monthly Restoration Days at Richards Woods, a beautiful, timbered 35-acre green space property the City purchased in 2021. Volunteers are welcome to join as we give Mother Nature a hand by removing invasive plants that tend to suffocate native growth. Volunteers can park and meet in the trail parking lot next to Richards Woods at East Schwarz and Route 143. You'll want to bring sturdy shoes, yard work gloves and water. (You'll be pulling and stacking invasive plants.)
